Dolores A. Bogert, 70 of Franklin died peacefully in her home Friday morning February 13, 2009. She was born in Oil City on June 11, 1938 a daughter of Elwood and Loretta VanAusdall Fry. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1956 and attended Clarion University in Oil City. Mrs. Bogert was employed at McCroy?s 5 & 10, in the office of Amalie Refinery, in the office of AC Laing Contracting and last as executive secretary at Venango Video. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin and the AARP. She organized the local Association for Children with Learning Disabilities. Surviving is her husband William Bogert whom she married on June 21, 1980; a daughter Tammi Ruditis and her husband Terry, Franklin; a son Arthur Ray Montgomery Jr. and his wife Barbara, Franklin; six grandchildren Tonya Montgomery, N.C.; Allen Montgomery, Franklin; Ryan Ruditis, Franklin; Jessica Kerr and her husband Shawn, Franklin; Nathan Rudiis, Franklin; Chas Wentworth, Grove City; 5 great grandsons; a sister-in-law Joanne Phillips, Franklin; a several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson Anthony Montgomery and a brother James Phillips. Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Harry, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be made in the Graham Cemetery.
