Frances Mammolite Vocisano, 95, of 338 Pacific Street, died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday August 20, 2011 in The Caring Place.
A daughter of Pasquale ?Patsy? and Catherine Scidone Mammolite she was born in Castellace, Italy on April 19, 1916. She moved with her family to Franklin in February 1927 and attended the Franklin public schools.
She was a member of St. Patrick Church, a former member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Sharon Valley Italian Lodge.
On August 30, 1936 she married Dominic Vocisano. They moved to Dubois before returning to Franklin in 1942. Mr. Vocisano died March 4, 1994.
Surviving are two daughters Angeline C. Vocisano and Antoinette Beach both of Franklin; two grandchildren Teresa Hart and her husband Kurt of Oil City and James Beach and his wife Therese of South Daytona Beach, FL; two great grandchildren Taylor Hart of Oil City and Zachary Beach of South Daytona beach, FL; a step-great-grandson Colt Hart of Apex, NC. Also surviving are a brother Dominic Mammolite of Huntington Beach, CA; three nephews Joseph Liotta III of Franklin, Patrick Mammolite and Michael Mammolite both of CA; three nieces Nancy McGough and her husband Bruce of Pittsburgh, Patricia Louise Kolacek and her husband Tony of Franklin and Maria Bullard and her husband Carter of NY and several cousins from Punxsutawney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Josephine Liotta and four brothers Guy, Anthony, James and Samuel Mammolite.
Friends will be received in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St. from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Monday.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Monsignor John J. Herbein, pastor of St. Patrick Church presiding.
Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
