Linda L. Urey

Linda Lea Urey, 75, of Franklin, passed away at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday August 15, 2019 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born in Greenville, PA on February 12, 1944 she was the daughter of the late Robert and June Woods.

She was a 1962 graduate of Franklin High School. She worked at the former American Card Company in Reno, Medical Records at the former Northwest Medical Center and most recently at JoAnn Fabrics at the Cranberry Mall.

Linda enjoyed babysitting her grandkids and going fishing. She also loved singing at her church.

She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin.

On June 12, 1965 she was married to Kenneth A. Urey in Rocky Grove and he survives.

Surviving are two sons; Mike Urey and his companion Denise of Franklin and Keith Urey of Franklin; two granddaughters, Natalie Urey and Jayanna Urey of Franklin and a grandson, Jesse Urey; three brothers, Danny Woods and wife Diane of Franklin, Jerry Woods and his wife Pam of Franklin, Bobby Woods and his wife Karen of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Woods.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Atkinson of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be made at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
