Mary H. Ward, 68 of Grove City, passed away on October 2, 2017 at Magee Women's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Mary was born in Pittsburgh on May 3, 1949 to the late Harry Augustine and Mable Morel Keller. She married her beloved husband, Donald P. Ward in June of 1989, he preceded her in death in February of 1997.

Mary worked as a homemaker and mother for her husband and children for many years and later on worked as an assistant at Interstate Recycling and Iron Mountain in Boyers.

Mary loved to play cards and enjoyed games. She loved to camp and spend time outdoors. She especially loved farming when her family lived on the farm. She also loved her animals, mostly her wiener dog named Ginger. Most of all she loved her family very much and loved to spend time with them.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, Patty Rikal of Butler and Michelle Best and her husband Peter of Parker, three sisters, Deb Keller and her companion Ben Nelson of Grove City, Linda Howell and her husband Mike of Mount Eden, KY, and Lisa Funk and her husband Mike of Harrisburg, two grandchildren, Tyler Houston and Hanna Best, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her son-in-law Vic Rikal, and her grandmother, whom she was very close with, Mary Wienand.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jamison Funeral Home, Inc. Harrisville, PA.

A memorial service will be held at the Grove City Church of God, 1333 W. Main St. Grove City, on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11 am with the Pastor Amy Worline, officiating.
