Anne Andres, 85, of Franklin passed away at Sugar Creek Care Center on Monday, November 17, 2025.
She was born to the late Pauline Haller and Clyde Settlemire on October 14, 1940 in Franklin, PA.
She attended Franklin High School.
During the 1980s, Anne owned and operated Andres Frosty Flavor in Cranberry. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the Regional Counseling Center in Oil City, and worked well into her retirement as a tax preparer at H&R Block.
Anne absolutely loved golf and played in area leagues and tournaments into her later years. She loved playing cards, scrabble, and socializing with friends. She loved to travel and went on hikes and adventures with her sister, Kathy.
While raising her children, she was always known as the cool mom. She would play wiffle ball with the neighborhood kids, spend a day at Conneaut Lake Amusement Park, or take road trips across the country. She made sure her family traveled and tried new things and lived with a sense of humor.
Anne is survived by a daughter, Amy Andres and her spouse Christine Brasel, and a son, Mark Andres and his spouse Luz Andres. Two granddaughters, Wisteria Andres and Momiji Andres, and a sister, Kathy Roberts and her husband Mark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Mueller.
There will be no services.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation services, Inc. 312 W Park St., Franklin.
Memorial donations may be made in Anne's name to the Venango County Humane Society 286 S Main St, Seneca, PA 16346.
