April L. Bain

April L. Bain, 65, of Franklin, passed away at her residence at 12:19 A.M. On Friday, October 24, 2025.

Born in Oil City on August 24, 1960, she was the daughter of the late William and Anita Dehner Bain.

April was a 1978 graduate of Oil City High School.

She was a member of the Franklin VFW, Franklin Moose and Franklin Eagles Club. She enjoyed taking care of her house plants and beloved dog. April enjoyed having a good time and and could often be found enjoying a Busch.

Surviving are four children, Andy Scharff (Latasha) of Seneca, Crystal Malloy of Iowa, Amber Maxon of Franklin and Augusta Lesnick (Daniel) of Grove City; nine grandchildren, Deion, Tesla, Araya, Anden, Araden, Bentley, Brogan, Charlee and Lane; two brothers, Shawn Bain and Eric Bain; two aunts, Caprice Lovewell and Beverly Falen and a cousin Chris Waslohn.

She was preceded in death by a son, Justin Maxon, her parents and a brother Scott Bain.

A celebration of life will be held later.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
