Bethany Faye Barth Gleim, 60, of York, SC, formerly of Rockland, PA, passed away on Friday, December 19th, 2025.
Born on January 18, 1965 in Oil City, Bethany was the daughter of the late George Barth III (Joe) who died when she was a baby and Faye Edwards Barth Frawley. Bethany was raised by Faye and Fred Piercy Sr.
Bethany graduated from Cranberry High School in 1983 and attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh where she earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She managed several different retail clothing stores and later changed paths, launching a career in Value Analysis in the health care industry, she was currently employed by ASP Global as a Director of Value Analysis. She was passionate about her work and did an outstanding job.
Spending as much time as possible being a mom, and grandma was Bethany biggest joy. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Bethany made many precious memories spending time with her family and friends. She truly lived life to the fullest. Her family fondly remembers her as the person who loved life and her family deeply.
Surviving Bethany are her husband, Paul Gleim, of 21 years and three children: Jonathan Mularski (Nicole) of Greenville, SC, Joshua Mularski of York, SC and Steven Gleim (Jamie) of Charleston, SC. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; Luke, Jack, and Wyatt Mularski, with another grandchild Mularski due in 2026, and Olivia Gleim. Additionally, surviving Bethany is her Mother Faye Frawley of Seneca, PA, her sister, Sheila Kratzer (Brian) of Seneca, PA, three brothers Fred Piercy Jr. (Kelly) of Saline, MI, Greg Piercy (Katrina) of Franklin, PA, and Timothy Edwards (Caity) of Erie, PA, and her uncles John Barth (Eileen) of Naples, FL, and Gary Edwards of Holland, MI.
Many loved cousins, nieces, and nephews are also left to cherish Bethany's memory.
Bethany was preceded in death her beloved sons Justin D. Mularski and Alex Gleim.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 312 West Park Street Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 17, 2026.
A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home at 1:15 P.M on Saturday.
Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery.
