Cassandra Ann "Cassie" Fetty

Cassandra Ann "Cassie" Fetty, 57, of Utica, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at home.

Daughter of Raymond A. Fetty and Cassandra A. Ward, Cassie was born on February 5, 1968 in Pittsburgh.

Cassie attended Langley High School. She later became a CNA and worked privately for seniors. She had her own commercial cleaning business for a time and finally worked on a farm in Florida training horses.

She absolutely loved the horses she worked with. Cassie talked often about how much she cared about animals, especially her four-legged friends Roxy the wolfdog and Norman the cat.

Cassie's hobbies included playing guitar, crafting, playing sports, laughing, and joking with friends.

Some of her best friends were her past husband Dan Byran, friend Dee, and her pets.

Cassie had a kind heart and would help anyone who asked. She was always laughing and having a good time with the people in her circle of friends.

Cassie is survived by her mother, Cassandra A. Ward of Utica. Also surviving is a daughter, Kayleigh Ramadan and her husband Mostefo and their two children, Aviana Schaffer and Amina Ramadan.

She was preceded in death by her father, her step-father David Ward, and an infant grandchild Vincento Chiser.

There will be no services at this time.
