Clarence Samuel Stevens, 55, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly as the result of a motor vehicle accident the morning of Wednesday, September 23, 2026 in Franklin. 

He was born to the late Norma and Clarence E. "Bud" Stevens on March 28, 1971 in Grove City, PA.

He cherished the time he spent with his Grandpa Hollis. 

Clarence was a graduate of Moniteau High School. 

He worked as a disassembler for Drafto Corporation. 

Clarence was the type of person who could make friends anywhere he went. No matter where he went or who was there, he made sure that everyone was having a good time and enjoying the moment.

He spent a lot of time in nature. From hunting and fishing to foraging for rocks and landmarks, he made the most of his time. He appreciated the joy in the journey. 

Clarence mastered the art of making things work. If something had a motor, he was sure to find a way to make it operate again- even if it wasn't the most conventional way. He enjoyed working with his hands. There was always a project being worked on or something being crafted. He had an appreciation for anything involving in the arts, and that was apparent through his projects and music taste. 

Clarence's children remember him as a provider, protector, and the person to go to if they needed help. He was always there to help them when they had a problem come up and was supportive of all of their endeavors. He taught them to be a part of nature and to find the joy in the ordinary.

 Clarence is survived by his three children, Samuel Stevens and his wife Samantha, Jessica Stevens and her partner Brett MacDonald, and Hunter Stevens. Cherished grandchildren include Emma MacDonald Stevens, Tenzin MacDonald Stevens, Hollis Stevens, and a grandchild-to-be. Clarence will also be remembered by his brothers and sisters. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandpa Hollis, and a brother, Dewayne Blauser.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W Park St., Franklin where friends and family will be welcome from 3:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. on Monday for a time of visitation. 

A service will be held immediatly following at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with celebrant Maddison Bakker, officiating.
