Debra S. Barscz, 73, of Reno passed away Monday, April 21 at UPMC Hamot in Erie.
Debra was born on June 2, 1951 in Franklin to George and Elva Sustak.
She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School where she met her first husband, Leonard King. She was married to Leonard for 29 years until his death on November 9, 1999. She was then married to John Barscz on April 26, 2002. They were married until her passing, and he survives.
Debra enjoyed knitting, flea markets, and going to & participating in craft shows.
In addition to her husband, Debra is survived by her two sons who she adored, David (his wife Jody) and Chad King. She had five grandchildren, Angeline, Coty, Joseph, Hannah, and Chloe King who were her world. She also has two great-grandchildren, Kyrie and Promise.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Elva Sustak, her sister Betsy Scannell, and her late husband Leonard King.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin where friends and family will be welcomed from 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Tuesday for a time of gathering.
A memorial service will take place at 6:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Philip Williams of Cooperstown Community Church of God, officiating
