Donna Lee Dolan

Donna Lee Dolan, 81, of Utica departed this earthly life Friday, October 16, 2015 at her home.

A daughter of Earl N. and Theda Rice Huff Sr., she was born in Franklin on July 25, 1934. Donna was a 1952 graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

On January 18, 1953 she married Willard F. Dolan Jr.

She and her husband Bill operated a butcher shop in Sugarcreek for 10 years.

Donna enjoyed crocheting with her daughter and granddaughters. They made lovely seasonal decorations to display throughout her home. She was an avid reader of history and Christian books and she loved sharing her home with many dogs, especially Pugs.

In addition to her husband Bill, she is survived by a son Willard F. Dolan III and his wife Gail of Utica, a daughter Denise Smith of Franklin, 4 grandchildren Justin Dolan and Emilee Dolan of Utica and Desiree' Smith and DeLonna Smith of Franklin.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 4 siblings, Bessie Lowrie, Bernice Onica, Robert "Doug" Huff and Earl "Pratt" Huff Jr..

The family wants to give a special thank you to Dr. Candace Lucian, Dr. Jason Brown, Dr. Molli, the entire staff at the Yolondo Barco Oncology Unit, and the wonderful, caring nurses of Crawford County Hospice.

Friends will be received in the Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 312 W. Park St. from 1:30 - 2 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph P. Martin, pastor of the Bethel United Methodist Church officiating.
Private family interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.
