Edna E. Weber

Edna E. Weber, age 95 of Slippery Rock, daughter of the late Harvey S. Baumgartel and Eva E. Mink Baumgartel, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016.

Edna was born on March 6, 1921 in Allegheny County, West Deer Township. She was a beloved wife for 50 years to the late George Coulter Weber.

She was a housewife, U.S. mail carrier in Mercer, had her own business as a cosmetologist for 10 years and managed Cloud Nine Beauty Shop in Grove City for 22 years; she retired in 1992. She was a member of the Bethel United Presbyterian Church, now Friendship Presbyterian Church.

Edna is survived by three children, William H. Weber of Bastrop, TX; Eva Beth McBurney (Jack) of Slippery Rock, PA; and Sharon Weber Crow (Michael) of Pittsburgh, PA, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a blessed companion, Joseph D. Monteleone.

In addition to her parents and husband, Edna was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jamison Funeral Home, Inc., 117 N. Main St., Harrisville, where family and friends are welcome from 4 to 7 pm on Wednesday, November 30 and from 10 to 10:45 am on Thursday, December 1. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11 am with the Reverend Donna Yanosy, Pastor of Friendship Presbyterian Church, officiating

Interment will be in Prairie Cemetery
