Irwin Pierre Ashby, 50, of Franklin, PA passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026 surrounded by his family. 

He was born on December 15, 1975 in Barbados and emigrated to the USA on December 24, 1977 at the age of two. 

Irwin attended Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, NJ and had a career in various industry sectors.

Known for his vibrant personality, Irwin was passionate about sports and spending time with his children. He loved people and was often called The Mayor because he knew everyone in his neighborhood and everywhere he went, he could find a friend. 

Irwin is survived by his mother, Marcia, and his eleven children: Nyasia, Desmond, Remy, Kierra, Samiah, Tesai, Zaire, Ileana, Apollo, and Vioma. Also surviving him is a granddaughter, Amelia, uncles Steve, Joel, and Mark, aunt Cheryl, several cousins, and additional family members. 

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W Park St. Franklin, PA 16323 where friends and family will be welcomed to gather from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday, May 8th for a celebration of Irwin's life.
