Janet M. Banister

Janet M. Banister, 78 of Grove City, passed away at 7:15 P.M. Monday March 7, 2016 at UPMC Passavant in Pittsburgh.

Born September 24, 1937 in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Gerald A. and Dora A. Sutley Banister.

She was a 1956 graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. She when was employed by Unisys Cooperation in Southern California where she retired as a supervisor.

Surviving is her son, Michael Carlozzi and his wife Cristina of Maryland; a sister, Marilyn Brinker of Grove City with whom she lived with; three aunts, Genny Weaver, Wanda Anderson, and Wilma Sutley, all of Franklin; a sister in law, Lyril Banister of Georgia; and several loving nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
