John W. Shultz, 70, of Polk, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2024 in his home.

The son of the late Edward W. and Margaret J. Day Shultz, John was born October 1, 1953.

John was a 1971 graduate of Franklin High School. After graduating, he started working manufacturing for Spang Industries and worked there for over 45 years.

He was a quiet man who kept to himself. He loved spending time with the children in his family, as well as visiting his brother Ed's dogs.

John is survived by his siblings, Ed Shultz of Franklin, Sue Funk of Franklin, Steve (Laurie) Shultz of Rio Rancho, NM, and Barb Shultz Newton of Chambersburg, PA. He is also survived by many loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepdad John Winger, grandparents Ralph and Muza Day, and his paternal grandparents.

There will be no visitation or services.
