Joseph E. Guidish, 68, of Franklin, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born on February 7, 1958 in Ellwood City to the late Ethel Kerry and Andy Guidish.

Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army.

On September 11, 1990, he married the former Krystina C. Kavanagh, who preceded him in death on December 27, 2025.

Joe is survived by a step-daughter, Amanda Dimmack, and two step-grandchildren, Kirby Clark and William (Dominque) Clark. Also surviving is a brother, Andy Guidish and his wife Vicky, a sister in-law, Linda Guidish, along with many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his wife and parents, Joe was preceded in death by his sisters, Joan Piper and Diana Miller, and a brother, Kenneth Guidish.

There will be no services at this time.
