Kenneth L. "Ken" Lowrie Sr., 68, of Franklin, passed away at 9:36 A.M. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Sugar Creek Care Center.

Born in Franklin on February 1, 1957, Ken was the son of the late Adelmer and Marjorie Louise Wyant Lowrie.

Ken was a graduate of Franklin High School.

He worked many years at Conair and most recently at Webco as a Tube Cutter.

Ken enjoyed washing cars, watching wrestling, playing poker, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by three children, Kristina (Randy) Mong of Oil City, Brandi (Donny Jr.) Hoover of Oil City and Kenneth Lowrie Jr. and his girlfriend, Traci Potter of Franklin; eleven grandchildren, Katrina Hurrelbrink, Kristian Rowland, Reileigh Rowland, Austin Mong, Aiden Mong, Aubrey Mong, Rylan Mong, Isaiah Hoover, Shyann Hoover, Summer Lowrie, Izabella Lowrie and one great-grandson, Isaiah Hoover Jr.

Additionally surviving are four siblings; Bob (Pat) Lowrie of Venus, Donna (Dave) Snyder of Franklin, Marjorie (Dennis) Heffern of York, Barb (Jim) Dickinson of Oil City and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, Tom Lowrie and Melissa Beach.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 10:00 A.M. - 10:45 A.M. Saturday.

A funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.

Ken would not want anyone to dress up so the family asks to wear your favorite pants and shirts.
