Larry William Wible, 61, of Franklin, passed away at Arnot Medical Center in Elmira, NY on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

Born in Franklin on December 29, 1964, he was the son of the late Richard W. Wible Jr. and Janet L. Sterner Wible. 

He was a 1982 graduate of Franklin High School. Larry was a skilled carpenter who took great pride in his craft. He began his career as a journeyman with the Carpenters Union before establishing his own business, A+ Construction. Over the course of more than 40 years, Larry used his talent, dedication, and attention to detail to help countless individuals and families bring their building and remodeling dreams to life.

Larry enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his family and always being right!

He is survived by two sisters, Dr. Cynthia G. Wible, PH.D (Dr. Christian Brechbuhler PH.D) and Wendy Knight (Steve); nieces and nephews, Bridget Wood (James), Stephanie Knight, and Thomas Brechbuhler; several great nieces and nephews, Tyus Wood, Jalen Wood, Alexis McVay, Aubrey Knight and Alena Phillips. 

Larry is also survived by many lifelong friends who's friendships were very special to him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Eric T. Wible and Lisa M. Wible. 

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for family and friends.
