Lloyd Alan Mckissick

Lloyd Alan McKissick Jr., 90, of Manchester, NH, died on December 26, 2016 in Hackett Hill Healthcare Center following a period of failing health.

A son of Lloyd Alan and Sara Davis McKissick Sr., he was born in Polk on January 4, 1926.

Serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II, he would later pursue a life-long career as a commercial pilot.

He was married on June 10, 1950 to Muriel Hazel Gunderman; she preceded him in death on April 12, 2012.

He is survived by two sons: Lloyd Alan McKissick III and his wife Ann of Parker, CO and Hugh Douglas McKissick of Candia, NH, and three grandchildren Jennifer Prahl, Sara McKissick and Liam McKissick. Also surviving are two brothers Paul McKissick and his wife Sally of Cranberry and John McKissick and his wife Elaine of Dillsburg, PA and Cocoa Beach, FL.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W. Park St., Franklin, where family and friends are welcome from 4 pm to 6 pm on Friday, June 2.

A memorial service will be held at Old Sandy Cemetery on Saturday, June 3, at 10 am.
