Lorrene “Lori” S. White Baden, 55, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at Saint Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA on March 18, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Franklin on April 13th, 1968, she was the daughter of Susan (Atha) and Zora “Butch” White.
She was a 1986 graduate of Franklin High School.
She married the love of her life, Brian K. Baden, on July 27, 1991.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 32 years, Brian Baden, her three children, son Jesse Baden and his wife Chelsea, daughter Karlee Baden and Fiancé Mara Smith, and daughter Emmalee Baden, her parents Susan (Atha) and Zora “Butch” White, siblings Lonnie White and wife Shirley, her sister Kimberly White, and three beautiful grandsons that were the light of her life, Blake, Bentley, and Chase Baden, her niece Onna (Whitling) Sernik and husband Brandon and their son Ryder, and countless cousins, aunts, uncles, and family friends.
In high school, she met her soul sister Ann Surrena, who she attended many concerts with, their favorite band being Def Leppard. Any time they were touring a nearby city, Ann and Lori were there. The two of them went on countless adventures throughout the years. They could talk for hours every day and never ran out of things to say.
She often spent weekends at the barn with cousins Randy and Debbie Shields surrounded by friends, laughing and singing all night long. She spent many days and nights with her cousin, Sheila Jacoby Junk going on random adventures and spending the entire time laughing.
Her favorite title she ever received was Grandma. She loved her grandsons Blake, Bentley, and Chase more than anything else in this world. When she learned her son Jesse was having twin grandsons, she spent her days beaming with pride, and always thinking about the next gift to buy them. Her life revolved around them, doing everything she could to make their time together full of fun, laughter, and snacks from her purse.
Lori was the kindest person, always putting everyone above herself. In keeping with her life spent giving everything she could to others, she continued saving lives after she passed through organ and tissue donation.
Anyone who knew Lori, knew that she would give you the shirt off her back, and ask if you needed her shoes, too. She’d give her last 10 dollars if you needed, and do everything else in between to help anyone. She made many wedding cakes, planned many weddings and events, and used her creative skills to make every event as special as it possibly could be.
She was preceded in death by her son Dustin and brother Lowell, her father-in-law William “Bill” Baden, her grandparents Ralph and Marie Atha, and Chalmers and DeEtta White.
