Melanie D. Hayes

Melanie Diane Hayes, 62, of Franklin, formerly on Meadville, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Friday, May 12, 2023.

She was born in Charleston, WV September 14th, 1960.

Her mother was Dora Brink (Howell). Her father Milton Hayes.

Melanie loved to crochet and her grandchildren. She loved animals and nature. She had a gentle, loving heart.

She is survived by her daughters: Tania Hayes (Garth Springer) and Amy Bowersox (James McClinton). She had 5 grandchildren: Brayden Bowersox, Lillian McClinton, Wolfgang Hayes, Odin McClinton, and Ember McClinton. She is also survived by her brothers Milton Hayes (Julia Hayes) and Leslie Hayes (Paula Hayes). She is also survived by a half sister, Linda, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded I'm death by her father, mother, and younger brother, Jimmy Hayes.

A Celebration of Life for Melanie will be held at Roche Park in Meadville on May 28, 2023 from 2:00-5:00 P.M. in Pavilion #3. Anyone is welcome to attend.
