Obituary

Michelle “Missie” Greenlee, 55, of Franklin, passed away the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026 due to medical complications at Meadville Medical Center.

Born on February 25, 1970 in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Betty J. Fox and Richard B. Boughner.

Missie was a 1988 graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

On May 22, 2000, she was married to the love of her life and “chunky dunkin” partner, the late Robert “Rob” Greenlee, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2025. They spent 35 years together, 25 years in marriage.

Over the years, Missie spent time working various jobs in the community, including Jim’s Supermarket in Cooperstown and Sports World/Jalco Metals in Franklin. More recently, she worked as secretary and was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #328 in Franklin and was an accountant at Linda Lou’s in Franklin.

During her time with the Franklin Eagles Club, Missie worked tirelessly to organize and produce the annual Boobie Fest that supported the Kirtland Cancer Foundation. Her dedication to the cause was unmatched and made the event successful each year.

Missie loved having her friends and family together to spend time in her pool. Time spent with Missie was always eventful. Her special friends were an absolute blessing to her life- they know who they are.

Though she joked about not loving the cows that she and Rob took care of, she loved them and spent a lot of time with them. She and Rob would spend their evenings watching the cows, brushing them, and taking care of them.

Missie is survived by her sister in-law Linda Greenlee of Franklin, sister in-law Chris Senger and her husband Richard of TX, and brother in-law Michael Greenlee and his wife Lucy of Cochranton. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews; Keith Lepley of Meadville, Erika Ingram and her husband Nate of Franklin, Courtney Hines and her husband Devin of Franklin, Jesse Senger of TX, Joel Senger and his fiancé Shelbi of TX, Casey Maloney and her husband Randy of Cochranton, Colton Greenlee and his wife Abby of Polk.

Additionally left to cherish Missie’s memory are her many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces & nephews, and adopted niece & nephews; Jolene, Will, and Waylon Ion.

Along with her parents and husband, Missie was preceded in death by brother in-law Leroy Greenlee, Jr. and her fur babies, Tyson and Tyra.

Missie’s family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to everyone at PennDOT who provided so much help and support to her during her husband Rob’s passing in June. A special thank you also goes out to the whole farming community that offered so much support to Missie and her family since Rob’s passing.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 W Park St., Franklin where friends and family will be received on Wednesday from 3PM to 6PM for a time of visitation.

A funeral service will take place immediately following in the funeral home chapel with Evangelist Jonathan Reisinger officiating.
