IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nancy J.
Prichard
August 12, 1938 – January 25, 2026
Nancy Jean (Kunkel) Prichard, born on August 12, 1938, in Rocky Grove, Pennsylvania, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in January 2026.
Nancy was the eldest of five children born to Earl and Phoebe Kunkel. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Katheryn, and her infant brother, Jimmy. She is survived by her brother, Leroy "Butch" Kunkel of Tacoma, Washington, and her sister, Deborah Resinger of Franklin, Pennsylvania.
Nancy was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School and went on to attend Edinboro State Teachers College (now Edinboro University), where she pursued her calling to become an elementary school teacher. She dedicated her early career to teaching in Bristol, Pennsylvania, touching the lives of many young students with patience, kindness, and care.
In June of 1968, Nancy married LeRoy Prichard, who was born in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Together they built a loving family and shared many years grounded in faith and devotion. Nancy is survived by her three children and six cherished grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy and pride.
Above all else, Nancy loved Jesus. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived it openly and generously. She spoke and taught for Him, mentored numerous young women, and never met a stranger. Nancy ministered faithfully through home Bible studies, Sunday school teaching, and compassionate visits to those who were homebound or residing in care facilities.
She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members whom she loved deeply and who will miss her greatly.
Nancy now rests in her eternal home, reunited with loved ones and embraced by her Savior, whom she served so faithfully throughout her life.
