Paul E. Towers

Paul E. Towers, 87, of Rocky Grove, passed away at his residence on Friday, November 14, 2025.

Born April 29, 1938 in Franklin, he was the son of the late Rev. Frank and Lucile Bixler Towers.

Paul proudly served in the United States Army from July 6, 1960 to July 6, 1962.

He was a member of the former Myrtle Lodge 36 F&AM and also the New Castle Consistory.

Paul worked for several area trucking companies including Warner and Klapec.

On December 10, 1961 he married the former Mary Jane Foster and they were married for 60 years. Mary Jane precedee Paul in death on January 7, 2022. Together they had one son, Rex A. Towers and he died on October 17, 2011. Paul was also preceded in death by his parents and in laws.

He is survived by one brother Wayne D. Towers and his wife Linda.

Paul was grateful for the care he received from his longtime caretaker, Crystal Ewing.

At Paul's request there will be no no visitation or services.

He will be entombed beside his wife at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin.
