Randall L. "Randy" Fishinger

Randall L. "Randy" Fishinger, 69, of Titusville, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Meadville Medical Center.

The son of the late Lawrence W. and Katherine E. Benes Fishinger, Randy was born in Denville, NJ, and was a member of the Indian Lake community.

He was a graduate of Morris Knolls High School in Rockaway, NJ.

On August 9, 1975, Randy married his wife, the former Cynthia Spik, and she survives. They moved to Pennsylvania that same year. They were high school sweethearts and would have celebrated their 50th anniversary this year.

Randy worked at Oil Well Supply in Oil City until he began his logging company, RL Fishinger Logging, in 1985. He was a hard worker as an employee and passionate as a business owner.

Randy had a range of hobbies including hunting, fishing, riding his tractors, and ice hockey. He enjoyed ice hockey from the time he was in high school up until the past few years and was involved in adult teams in both Erie and Meadville. Lottery tickets and poker with his friends were another simple pleasure in Randy's life. In more recent years, Randy came to love spending time and taking walks with his "little buddy dog", Nico. His biggest passion was hosting friends and family on his fishing boat in Topsail, NC.

He is remembered by his family as a driven and determined man. He was devoted to providing for his family and was always glad to give a hand to friends and neighbors in need.

Randy is survived by his wife, Cynthia Fishinger, and their children, Todd Fishinger of Dempseytown and Dana Fishinger of Norfolk, VA. Also surviving is brother Kurt Fishinger and his wife Jill of Alma, CO. Randy's memory will be remembered by several loved cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin, PA where friends and family will be welcomed from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 26 for a time of gathering.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Celebrant Maddison Bakker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial trees be donated on Randy's obituary page to help forests in need.
