Remington Scott Mayner

Remington "Scott" Mayner (Scooter, Scootie), 39, of Rocky Grove, passed away at UPMC Hamot in Erie on May 30th, 2025.

Scott was born in Virginia Beach, VA on October 17, 1985.

Scott loved to make people laugh and was always "clowning around." He enjoyed playing video games and reading, especially James Patterson's Novels. Scott was a gifted mechanic who could fix anything. He loved his Pitbulls, Luna and Reese, and he will be deeply missed by them.

On May 15, 2024, he found the love of his life, Amber Wolfgong, and she survives.

Also surviving are five children, Kaytlynn Riel and Matix Tracy and his fiancée Kendall Strong of Middleburg, FL, Bentley Mayner and Brinton Mayner both of Cooperstown and Mady Taylor of Rocky Grove; two siblings, Michael Morrison of Rocky Grove and Candace Desnoyers and her husband Steve of Middleburg, FL.; his maternal grandmother, Alpha Pearl Little; two nephews and two nieces, Logan, Lukas, Lilliana, Loralei and multiple extended family members.

He was preceded in death by a son, Ethan, his Nana, and his grandpa, Little.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St., Franklin, where family and friends are welcome from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Sunday, June 8, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, June 8, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Maddison Bakker, Certified Celebrant, officiating.

The family asks for everyone to wear light blue (as this was his favorite color), in honor of Scott.

Interment will follow at Franklin Cemetery.
