Robert A. Mathieson, 67, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026.

Born in Detroit, MI on August 21, 1958, he was the son of the late Robert A. Mathieson Sr. and Ceclia Kuhlman Mathieson.

Bob proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and retired from service in March of 1996

He was married to the former Barbara Donegan for 45 years and she preceded him in death in 2021.

Surviving are his sister Jill Waggoner; three children: Shawnna (Jeff) Greenwood, IN, Robert (Kristin) Stafford, VA and Ben (Melanie) Norton, OH; and nine grandchildren: Emily, Brandon, Samuel, Mara, Annabelle, Sydney, Hope, Eli and Owen.

The date and location of the service have not yet been determined and will be held at a later date.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations to be made in Bob's name to Precious Paws Animal Rescue 720 Atlantic Ave, Franklin, PA 16323
