Robert F. "Bobby June" Wyant Jr., 71, of Advance, NC, formerly of Franklin, passed away at UPMC Jameson in New Castle on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

Born in Franklin on March 20, 1954 and was the son of the late Robert Wyant Sr. and Nancy Lee Wile Wyant.

Bobby June was an accomplished musician whose talent on the guitar, coupled with his powerful singing voice, earned him admiration from all who heard him perform. Widely known for his distinctive vocals and heartfelt performances, music was a lifelong passion that he generously shared with others. Bobby proudly recorded an album at Rosewood Studios in New Castle, capturing the spirit and talent that made his music so memorable. His love for music and his ability to connect with people through song will be remembered by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of listening to him play.

Bobby will also be remembered for his quick wit and natural ability to connect with others, often leaving people feeling better after sharing a good belly laugh.

He is survived by his wife Debby of 15 years at their home in Advance, NC.

Also surviving is his son, Robert F. "Bugger" Wyant III and his wife Jenny Sue; a daughter, Desiree Marghella and husband Tony; two sisters, Pam Swasta and her husband Bob and Valerie Boyer and her husband Don; eight grandchildren; a nephew, Camron Pixley; a niece, Valeyne Marie Grotrian and one special step-granddaughter, Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by parents.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin where family and friends are welcome from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2026.

A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Cooperstown Cemetery.
