Samuel D. "The Douglas" Costello, 62, of Cranberry, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Born in Winchester, VA on July 31, 1962, he was the son of the late Samuel Leo and Sharon Lee Brunson Costello.

He previously worked for Norton Roofing in Ohio.

Doug proudly served his country in the United States Army. 

He enjoyed camping, fishing, landscaping and above all, spending time with his family. In his earlier years, he traveled throughout the United States, spending a lot of time camping in the wilderness of Oregon. 

Surviving is his fiance, Lisa Lowrie; two daughters, Amanda Laman (Justin) and Bella Lowrie; three grandchildren, Izzy, Shell, and Camden; three siblings, Tina Norton (Rick), Vince Costello and Scott Graves; two stepchildren, Brandi Hoover (Donny) and Kenny Lowrie Jr. (Traci); 13 step- grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kelly Costello. 

There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
