Steven C. Pierce Sr.

Born in Franklin on August 14, 1951, he was the son of Marian L. Swyers Pierce and the late Richard E. "Dick" Pierce.
Steve was a 1970 graduate of Franklin High School.
He served his country for four years in the United States Army as a Medic.
Steve worked as a mechanic and spent a number of years at Village Auto. He enjoyed working in his garage and he loved his Harley Davidson.
On July 23, 1976, he married the former Doris "Dee" Willyoung and she survives.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by a daughter, Heather Gricks (Paul), a son, Craig Pierce (Charity); three grandsons, Bryce Gricks, Carson Gricks and Haiden Schmader; two brothers, Richard Pierce and his wife Diane and Jeffrey Pierce, several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Huff-Guthrie Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 312 West Park St. Franklin, where private funeral services will be held and officiated by. Rev. Sam Wagner, of Christ United Methodist Church.
Interment will follow at Graham Cemetery.
